BackgroundGrantsfortheArtstheYouthOpportunityFundChillOutFundExchangevisitsbetweenYouthTheatresandMasterclassesACircusResidencyAllTogetherDifferentAPlatformPerformancePost-projectreectionandconsultation27TheOYTCnetworkexiststoexpandandenrichtheyouththeatreresourceoftheCountythroughaprogrammeofsharedopportunitiesandevents.OYAPTrusthasbeendrivingthiscollaborationbetweentheyouththeatresintheCountytosharetheirresourcesexperiencesandtoworktogethertobringnewexperiencesandskillsintothecountysince1998.Since2004thepartnershiphasalsosharedresourcestoworkcollaborativelyandrunresourcesforyoungpeople.TheOYTCnetworkalsohasalonghistoryofyouthleadershiptrainingandasaforumfordialogueforregionalyouththeatres.Thispre-existingdialogueledtotheformationofyouththeatrecompaniese.g.OxfordPlayhouseYTandtoabidtotheArtsCouncilsYoungPeoplesParticipatoryTheatreproject.Thisledinturntoasuccessfulfundingapplicationwithandthe.ThefollowingorganisationswereinvolvedintheProjectOYAPTrustMillYouthTheatreOxfordYouthTheatrePegasusTheatreOxfordPlayhouseYouthTheatreStreetStageCharlburyCherwellTheatreCompanybasedattheMillArtsCentreChippingNortonYouthTheatreWhippersnappersAbingdonThameYouthTheatreBicesterCourtyardYouthArtsCentreSome130youngpeopletookpartintheprogrammeintotalwithanadditionalnumberof10artistsand20youthtutorsandleaders.Thekeycomponentsoftheprojectinclude.AtotaloftwoExchangevisitswereheldasskillshareopportunitiesfortutorsandyoungpeople.SixMasterclasseswerealsoheldwiththemesdecidedbyindividualyouththeatresandattendedbybothtutorsandyoungpeople.AweeklongresidencywasledbyStreetTheatreCompanyaspartoftheprogramme.Theresidencywasattendedby22youngpeopleagedbetween8and22yearsold.Internalevaluationindicatedveryhighlevelsofenjoymentandalsoskillsdevelopment..SevencompaniestookpartinanalplatformperformancewhichinvolvedaGamesExchangeandEvaluationforum.TheatreinputwasdecidedbyparticipatingYTsindividually.CreativeconsultationandopenspaceactivitieswereledaspartofaworkshopsessionbytheEvaluator.FindingsfromthisworkshopformasignicantpartoftheToolkitofferedhere.ElectricCabaret
