6AllTogetherDifferentAllTogetherDifferentTowardsaHealthyEcologyofArtsandCulture.2007MissionsModelsandMoneyThisToolkitalsoaddressesinparticularakeyaspectoftheArtsCouncilEnglandsdevelopmentpriorityofworkforChildrenandYoungPeopleencouragingourRegularlyFundedArtsOrganisationseducationalinstitutionsandbusinessestoexchangetheirknowledgeTheprocessesandoutcomesoftheprojectaredocumentedandassessedindetailintheaccompanyingEvaluationreport.ThisToolkitiswrittenasaguideforprofessionalsworkinginthesector.Thepracticesofpartnershipareinsomeartssectorsattractingmoredialogueanddebateforexampleteacher-artistcollaborationinCreativePartnershipsprogrammes.Thepracticesofinter-artsorganisationalpartnershipsareincontrastlessexploredperhapsasareectionoftheinterestsandcreativetensionswhichinevitablyformpartoftheseventures.Theneedforgreaterattentiontotheseareashoweverisincreasinglyrecognised.ForexampletheArtsandCulturalOrganisationthinktankidentiesthelackofconversationbetweenunderfundedorganisationsworkinginsilosasoneofthemajorinhibitorsforcreativedevelopmentinthenewartseconomy.Theworkofacknowledgestheseobstaclesandillustratespracticalroutestoincreasethepotentialofincreaseddialoguebetweendifferentpartners.Thereissignicantunrealisedpotentialforartsandculturalorganisationstoleveragetheirowntalentsandthoseofotherorganisationsbyworkingtogether.Thechallengesandopportunitiesofdevelopingmergersbackofceconsolidationsandjointventuresneedstobefurtherinvestigated.Whilethisisalreadyhappeningitshouldbeencouragedfurther.ItisimportanttonotethatthisToolkitistheproductofextensivereectionbyyouththeatredirectorstutorsandyoungpeopleonaninnovativeandoccasionallychallengingcollaborationanddesignedtoaddresstheseless-exploredbutnolesssignicantareasandtensionsofpartnershippractice.Itisofferedasapeertopeerresourcewithinterpretationandsomeadditionalcommentfromtheevaluator.MissionsModelsandMoney
