Arts Award

OYAP Trust is a registered Arts Award Centre, the Arts Award is a great way for young people to explore creative skills and is a nationally recognised qualification available at three levels Gold, Silver and Bronze. The Arts Award provides a direct link between young people and creative professionals in arts and media. If you work with young people and want to become an Arts Awards adviser you can attend a one day public course at OYAP Trust or arrange for an in house course (for 8 people).

Arts Award Welcome Organisation

OYAP Trust have recently been awarded Arts Awards Welcome status. We work with young people and organisations to support their delivery of the Arts Award. We can provide adviser services, training services, project development and management to encompass the Award.



Do you need help to achieve your Arts Award?

We work with professional artists regularly, and can help you to arrange work placements, interviews and leadership opportunities. We have a real insight into what makes a successful project and can provide advice and point you in the direction of an arts experience that is beyond the run of the mill.

We have a wide network of contacts within other arts organisations in the county and can advise on participation opportunities and help in setting up free theatre tickets and event visits.
