It offers a flexible framework for accrediting young people’s creative development and can be delivered in many different settings, and within varying timescales. Find out more at www.artsaward.org.uk/inmysetting
Training as an adviser is the first step in getting going with Arts Award. Advisers support, mentor and assess young people working towards awards. The day includes presentation, case studies and discussion, and covers how to deliver and assess the Arts Award at both levels.

Witney youth in a spin at Pimp My Bike
This summer, over 15 young people aged 10-18, brought their broken BMX’s and rusted mountain bikes to Base 33, a youth centre in the heart of Witney, to take part in the workshop “Pimp My Bike”, a two day community-building workshop. Check out the film made by one of OYAP's Young Leaders, Sam Hamper...
Funded by Sanctuary with support from Cottsway Housing and West Oxfordshire District Council, Pimp My Bike saw young people learn to strip down and rebuild their bikes, whilst also “pimping” the bodywork with a spray paint makeover.
Participants were delighted that their hard work stripping, sanding and spraying had unleashed a new lease of life for their BMX's.
‘It’s amazing when you work at something how you can change"’
