Youth Theatre

Junior Youth Theatre:   Wednesdays, 4:30 - 6pm,  7-11 years

Work on a perfromance for our Halloween spectacular, Fright Night. An intensive short project to devise a socially distanced performance at Studi02 on Friday 30 October. The theme is ESCAPE! With ghouls seeking revenge…

Join our new group and learn how sound effects bring a live performance to life.  Collaborate  with the youth theatre groups to create our Fright Night event.

Cocoon (our LGBTQ+ YAT)

A group of LGBTQ+ young people and allies who plan creative projects that make a difference in the community. In 2020 they aim to make everyday town facilities more accessible and inclusive for LGBTQ+ young people and those with hidden disbalities.  If you would like to join please email [email protected]

Weekly Programme



Drawing Studio

Wednesday 11th November, 10 – 17 years, 4:30–6pm

Focus on your drawing skills in this workshop with Amanda Lavis and experiment with a series of fun techniques to test out different styles. No drawing experience required, the aim is just to be free and have a go.

Wednesday 18th November, 7- 14 years, 4:30–6pm

Taking the theme Traces of things: Snowflakes and Autumn leafs Kristina Paxton will show you how to work with found objects like bark and lace to create negative and positive prints.

Gig Committee

Starting 13th November

11-17 years, 4:30-6pm

Join our Gig Committee music youth action team where you will meet bi-weekly to plan, create, and deliver live music performance events. The sessions will teach you the skills needed to programme these events.

With 4 strings and a lot of gusto, the ukulele is an exciting way to get into music. Join Jobe Sullivan's Ukulele orchestra for a session. Covid-19 means we can’t sing, but we're going to hum our hearts out as we strum along to some classic campfire tunes.

Come and learn to create street art with New York artist Tommy Watkins. Learn ways to use spray paint, cut stencils and perfect your technique in order to make amazing artwork anywhere. There will be something for everyone, whether you are a beginner or have some experience.
